Wang Xianzhi (344-386), born in Yinshan, Huiji (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang), was an official slave, Han nationality, and his ancestral home was Linyi, Shandong. The seventh son of Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher, poet and painter in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
