Shenxian Yanta Shenxian Pagoda
Also known as Pagoda and Wild Goose Pagoda. Located in the northwest corner of the city, in the courtyard of this cultural center. It was built in the second year of Jin Dynasty (1 139) and demolished in the spring of the first year of Northern Song Dynasty (1064). According to the old records, the east-west width of this tower is 14, the north-south length is 13 and the height is 13. There is a copper cage with more than 20 people on the top, which is expected to be 70 miles. It has played an important role in "defending the city and not fighting". "Those who stare at the gas are called proper family names." During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, after several renovations, the Yi people also "gave" it, and regarded it as the pride of Shenxian County and a symbol of Shencheng. 1944 when the city was liberated, the tower, as the highest point of the city, was first occupied by our army. According to Zhao Xianru, an old teacher, the bottom of the tower covers an area of 533 square meters and is 48.6 meters high. There are four doors on each floor, and the top looks at dozens of miles, which has the feeling of "hands can pick stars". There is an ancient temple under the tower, and there is a stone statue of the goddess in the temple, named Da Shi, commonly known as "Grandma Shi". People in the new city area are used to climbing the tower on the 16th day of the first month and catching the temple fair on October 18th. 1928 Breaking superstition and tearing down the temple, the ancient temple no longer exists. 1968, the tower was demolished on the grounds that it was "unsafe", and five northern song dynasty engravings of Lianhua Jing, 1 Ministry manuscripts of Dalagni Jing, 1 small silver tower and 1 stone letter were demolished. There is a relic in the letter with a silver boat floating on it. The silver tower is a sheet metal process, which is exquisite and breathtaking. The Scriptures and the Silver Pagoda are in the Shandong Provincial Museum and the Stone han cun County Cultural Relics Room. 198 1 year and 1982 spoke highly of its historical, scientific and artistic value. In the mid-1980s, the county leaders and cultural departments proposed reconstruction, but it was shelved due to financial problems.
