Su Shi's Poems on Washing Children

Everyone wants to be smart when they adopt a son, but I am mistaken for smart. I just hope that the children will be stupid and honest, and there will be no disaster and no trouble for the public.

"Washing children" is only four sentences, with a playful tone and an ironic tone. There is indeed a reason. "It looks smart for everyone to raise a child", which is what people want and expect. There is nothing wrong, and the truth is self-evident. It's just that Su Shi's official career suffered a big setback, and it's also true that he was misled by cleverness all his life.

Su Shi was imprisoned for opposing Wang Anshi's new law and satirizing "new progress" in his poems. A "Wutai Poetry Case" shocked the ruling and opposition parties. Fortunately, with the rescue of senior officials and the intervention of Empress Dowager Cixi, Su Shi was saved from death and retired to Huangzhou. During her stay in Huangzhou, my concubine Chaoyun gave birth to a boy for Su Shi, and "Poetry of Washing Children" was written for this boy.

Just after a great ordeal, it is not difficult to understand that the poet "only wants to be stupid and honest, and there is no disaster and no difficulties." The "Communist Youth League" still wants to be, and only hopes that "there is no disaster and no difficulty"; "Stupidity" is just a coat, and the core is stupidity. If you don't show your edge, you won't be chosen as the protagonist by such a tragedy as "the wood in the forest will be destroyed by the wind" Su Shi's desire is really emotional, and it is by no means a moaning without illness.

Su Shi (1037 65438+10.8-124.8), whose real name is Zi Zhan, also known as He Zhong, is a Taoist priest of tin cans and a layman of Dongpo, and is known as Su Dongpo and Su Xian in the world. Han nationality, a native of Meishan, Meizhou (now Meishan, Sichuan) and Luancheng, Hebei, was a writer, calligrapher and painter in the Northern Song Dynasty.

In the second year of Jiayou (1057), Su Shi was a scholar. Song Shenzong worked in Fengxiang, Hangzhou, Mizhou, Xuzhou and Huzhou. In the third year of Yuanfeng (1080), he was demoted to be the permanent assistant ambassador of Huangzhou because of Wutai poetry case. After Song Zhezong acceded to the throne, he was known in Hangzhou, Yingzhou, Yangzhou, Dingzhou and other places. In his later years, he was exiled to Huizhou and Danzhou because of the ruling of the New Party. Song Huizong was granted amnesty and returned to the north, where he died. Song Gaozong posthumously awarded a surname.
