The author of The Kingdom of Chinese Characters is Lin Xili.
Lin Xili, a Swede, was born in 1932. ? Lin Xili's Swedish name is Cecilia Lindquist, and now she is a professor, writer and photographer. From 197 1, Lin Xili worked as a Chinese teacher in Sweden. After 1978, I made a program about China language for Swedish TV.
In order to write the Kingdom of Chinese Characters, she went to China for more than ten years. Because she couldn't wait for the archaeological report to be published, she decided to go to the archaeological site to find the original stories of those Chinese characters.
Lin Xili regularly visits several major archaeological sites in China, Henan, Shaanxi and Shandong every year, which has become a part of Lin Xili's life. Until the Chinese character kingdom was built 20 years ago, it remained so.
