Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in Pucheng County is located at No.6 Chaiquan Lane, Pucheng County, Shaanxi Province. It was founded by Gao Qisheng, the former director of the county cultural center, based on the former residence of Wang Yiqian, the younger brother of Wang Ding, the military minister of the Qing Dynasty. /kloc-at the beginning of 0/847, when Lin Zexu was the governor of Shaanxi Province, he took three months off and came to Pu Weien's teacher Wang Ding to live in this house, so he called it "Lin Zexu's apartment". In memory of the great national hero Lin Zexu, the museum was built in 2002 and opened to the public on October 22nd, 2007/kloc-0. Sun Lingqing, the fifth Lin Zexu (former China's ambassador plenipotentiary to the United Nations) nominated "Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in Pucheng, Shaanxi" as the museum.
Lin Zexu Apartment in Pucheng is a very beautiful ancient building complex in Qing Dynasty, with a courtyard house 70 meters deep and 10 meters wide, with three entrances and three exits, and Wang Yiqian's house is the courtyard house in the middle. The courtyard is covered with all kinds of brick carvings from front to back, with eleven high embossed walls, including deer, dragons, phoenixes, tigers, monkeys, rats, flowers and landscapes. Up to now, there are still seven plaques inscribed by Lin Zexu and Laipu in the house, which are of great historical, scientific and artistic value. In particular, the Wei Lan Book House inscribed by Lin Zexu for the museum has been identified as one of the 24 historical celebrity plaques by the state and enjoys a high reputation. Lin Zexu is a great calligrapher and has written many plaques. But only seven pieces of Pucheng are well preserved, so they are more precious.
In order to carry forward the lofty patriotic spirit of Lin Zexu and Wang Ding, and to commemorate the great and outstanding politician Lin Zexu, the museum has created sculpture groups such as Two Souls of the Yellow River, Eliminating Opium in Humen, Wang Ding's Wake, and Lin Zexu's Book Monument. Through a large number of pictures of cultural relics displayed in eight exhibition rooms, a very popular and educational exhibition has been formed, which will help us understand the noble character of Lin Zexu and Wang Ding and China's transition to modernity.
Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in Pucheng is the sixth Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in China. It is also the only memorial hall in Shaanxi to commemorate the national hero Lin Zexu.
