Zhou Qiong, commonly known as Chu Zi, was born in October 1964 in Xiangxiang. He started working in 1982 and studied at the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University, the Contemporary Literature Major of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Writers Class of Wuhan University. . After publishing his first work in "Hunan Daily" in 1986, he has been published in national, provincial, and prefecture-level literary publications such as "Youth Literature", "Anhui Literature", "Shanghai Literature", "Furong", "Youth", "Creation" ", "Writer", "God of Poetry", "Literary Circle" and more than ten professional publications have published more than 1 million words of prose, poetry, novels, calligraphy and painting reviews, and literary reviews. He is currently a member of the Chinese Prose Society, a member of the Hunan Provincial Writers Association, a member of the Hunan Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Hunan Artists Association. In 1999, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House published the novel "Moan", which was the first novel among Xiangxiang residents since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
