Wanjing's Calligraphy Characteristics

Liang's Postscript of Painting and Calligraphy in Boluo Temple says: "His book is as quaint as Shangyi Zhou Ding; Another example is pine and cypress, lovely and respectable. " His official script takes the monument of the French and the Chinese, especially Cao Quanbei, which makes him lose its beauty and gain its greatness. The couplet "Yun He Mei Yan" is one of his masterpieces. This page is 1 16 vertically and 34 cm horizontally. Ink has been published in the third issue of calligraphy series (1998) and Selected Works of Deng Yongqing's Painting and Calligraphy in Ming and Qing Dynasties published by Cultural Relics Publishing House. Originally collected by Mr. Deng Yongqing, 1993 was donated to Xuzhou Museum.

The first part of the book "Clouds and cranes swim in the sky, and the sea is full of splendor" comes from Liang Wudi's Xiaoyan "On the Advantages and Disadvantages of Ancient and Modern Scholars", commenting on Zhong Wei's book: "Zhong You's book is like clouds and cranes swimming in the sky, and the sea is full of lush lines, which is really sad." This article, referred to as book review or book review for short, was not quoted in ancient books before the Tang Dynasty, but first appeared in the book Wisdom of Sui Monks, the fifth volume of Chun Hua Wen Tie in the Song Dynasty. This passage mainly describes the superb realm of Zhong You's (Changyuan's) calligraphy, which is appropriate in weight, combining rigidity with softness, strong and powerful, quaint and dense. The second couplet "Mei Yan Zao Xia" refers to the hot days in early summer dotted with summer, as opposed to the following "Wheat welcomes autumn". The writing is steady and clever.
