The Daxiong Hall of Liu Rong Temple was completed in June 1984. The reconstructed hall is14m high and covers an area of 300m2. The glazed tile surface is majestic, which embodies the style of ancient buildings in southern China. At the main entrance of the main hall, there is a gold plaque inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, with vigorous brushwork; Charm is turbid and hidden. The "Hall of Great Heroes" under the eaves of the main hall was inscribed by Lian Deng, president of Yangcheng Bookstore. The three bronze Buddha statues enshrined in the center of the Hall of Great Heroes are 6m high and weigh10t, which were cast in the second year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1663). This is the largest existing ancient bronze statue in Guangdong Province, and now it has been remounted with gold.
Kannonji was rebuilt at 1987, with a height of13m and an area of 233m2. The hall is dedicated to the bronze statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, which was cast in the second year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1663). The statue is 4 meters high and weighs 5 tons. It looks serene and the casting process is exquisite.
Under the auspices of Master Yunfeng, Liu Rong Temple receives hundreds of thousands of Chinese and foreign tourists and believers every year. Through this move, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can learn more about the implementation of Chinese mainland's policy of reform and opening up and freedom of religious belief, enhance mutual understanding and friendship, and promote cultural exchanges and friendly exchanges.
