Lushan is a Millennium ancient county with a long history and rich culture. During the Five Emperors of Yanhuang, it was an important activity area of Huaxia Group, one of the three prehistoric ethnic groups in China. There are the training grounds of Sean, Xiao He and Han Xin, the recruiting platform of Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Great Wall of Chu, the site of iron smelting in the Han Dynasty, the site of porcelain kiln in Duandian of Tang and Song Dynasties, and the site of Guqintai, as well as the four-sided inscription inscribed by Yan Zhenqing, a well-preserved great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, for the poet Jie Yuan. This is one of the representative works of Yan Ti.

Lushan Mountain is an old revolutionary base area. As early as 1928, China * * * Producer Party was active here and established a grassroots party branch. 1935, the Red 25th Army marched through Lushan Mountain, sowing the seeds of revolution along the way.
