1965 Mr. Ren Ganting, a well-known ceramist, studied under Cong Ze, engaged in the creation of pottery sculptures. 1975 studied in the Ceramic Department of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, and then devoted himself to the creation and research of purple sand art. He was good at designing and making pottery, especially at the decoration of pottery sculptures, and had unique research on calligraphy, painting, seal cutting and the history of purple sand. His works are a collection of purple sand ceramic modeling design and production, ceramic carving decorative poems, books and paintings, focusing on the design idea of culture leading purple sand art, forming a distinctive personal artistic style, which is unique in the purple sand art forest. He has won gold medals at home and abroad for dozens of times, and his works have been collected by Ziguangge, Palace Museum and Nanjing Museum in Zhongnanhai, and he has published monographs and held solo exhibitions for many times.
