Most people are often not confident about their calligraphy. They like to compare their calligraphy with that of great calligraphers, and thus come to the conclusion that their calligraphy is useless. This is really a great misunderstanding.
In my opinion, the so-called master can learn from his writing and conception, but he can't stick to it. What we need to learn is how the master arranges each stroke in the upper, lower, left and right space. The most important thing is to keep the balance of gravity, so writing must have a sense of gravity. Each stroke should not be too close to the previous stroke, nor too far away, and there should be no overlapping lines.
I summed up three factors that affect the aesthetics of calligraphy, namely, identifiability, interest and uniqueness. When writing, beauty and ugliness should be put aside so that people can understand them first. Secondly, it is interesting on the basis of recognition. Writing is not assembly line manufacturing. The same part (basic strokes) appears many times in a word, and it has to change, and unevenness also produces beauty. Finally, write your own uniqueness and form your own style. The ancients couldn't take me as the law.
