Yucheng is rich in intangible cultural heritage resources. Currently, there are more than 2,000 intangible cultural heritage clues and 433 projects found in a comprehensive census. Our city has comprehensively excavated and sorted out some outstanding projects, and actively carried out application work for lists at all levels. The city has one intangible cultural heritage item at the Dezhou municipal level: the legend of Dayu's flood control; and nearly 200 intangible cultural heritage items at the county and municipal level.

Our city’s intangible cultural heritage is mainly divided into 10 categories, namely: folk literature, traditional music, traditional dance, traditional drama, folk art, traditional sports, entertainment and competition, traditional fine arts, traditional skills, Traditional medicine, folklore.

The main situation of various types of intangible cultural heritage in our city is as follows:

1. Folk literature

Folk literature includes stories, dialects, proverbs, sayings, and couplets , ballads, etc.

1. Stories: including historical stories, folk tales, etc., which basically reflect the important figures or events that influenced the historical development of Yucheng in the long history. These stories are colorful and touching and have been passed down to this day. They are treasures of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.

2. Dialects: including natural phenomena, characters, bodies, animals, plants, daily household items, actions and behaviors, shapes and emotions, etc., covering a wide range of content, covering almost all aspects of people’s lives, and are the production of the people. It is a reflection of life, life and exchanges, has profound cultural characteristics and regional characteristics, and is a living cultural relic for the study of Yucheng civilization.

3. Proverbs: including current affairs, cultivation, life, production, health care, etc., they are easy to understand and full of philosophy. They are a high-level summary and concentration of the production and life patterns of the people in Yucheng. These proverbs are concise, lively and deeply rooted in the land of Yucheng. They are an important part of Yucheng folk literature.

4. Xiehouyu and couplets: including nearly 300 Xiehouyu and nearly 100 couplets. The postscript is short, concise and easy to understand. It is a summary of the people's daily life experience and represents the wisdom of the people of Yucheng for thousands of years. The couplets have neat contrasts and beautiful language, expressing the people's longing for a better life and are an epitome of national folk culture. .

There are 15 preliminary surveys of traditional medicine in Yucheng City. Among them, the projects that are relatively recognized by the public and have a certain impact on the country are Yang's osteopathy, Zhi's osteopathy, and Wang's osteopathy. Festival customs mainly include Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, February 2, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Cold Food Festival, New Year's Eve, etc. Hui festivals include Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Qadr Night, Eid al-Adha, etc.

The Hanhuai Tomb is the tomb of a prince of the Eastern Han Dynasty more than 1,800 years ago. The tomb is in the shape of "サ", with two doors and 13 chambers. It is a combination of arch-type and bucket-type tombs. More than 40 artifacts were unearthed, of which 12 lotus lanterns are rare cultural relics and are now on display at the Beijing History Museum. There are also 22 five-baht coins and a piece of silver chain among other cultural relics. It is named after a thousand-year-old Han locust tree on the tomb.

The Yuwangting Museum is located 3 kilometers northwest of Yucheng City, covering an area of ??136.5 acres. It was built and opened to the outside world in 1997. The park consists of a large courtyard facing north and south (including the main hall of King Yu, the east and west side halls, bell and drum towers, etc.), the ruins of Juqiu, the Pavilion of King Yu and an artificial lake. Its structure is novel, compact, magnificent, simple and elegant. At the south end of the courtyard is an archway-style mountain gate. Above the gate is the handwriting of "Prince Yu's Pavilion" inscribed by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.

Enter the mountain gate by climbing the steps. There are 6 meters wide north and south corridors with pines and cypresses planted on both sides. On the east side of the southern end of the corridor stands a stone tablet with an inscription focusing on the construction of King Yu's Pavilion. On the west side of the southern end of the corridor, there is a There are two stone tablets engraved with the name of the donation unit and the name of the individual who donated to the Yuwang Park. There are 11 ancient-style side halls on the east and west sides of the northern part of the courtyard. At the north end of the corridor is the King Yu's main hall in the Ming and Qing architectural styles. The total height is 16.7 meters, the length is 25.4 meters, and the depth is 15 meters.

There is a gilt plaque of "Yu Wang Palace" above the main entrance of the hall and between the two eaves. There is a couplet on the pillars on both sides of the door, the glazed tile roof and the seal painting are magnificent. In the middle of the hall, there is a seated statue of King Yu, about 6 meters high, with jade girls behind it standing on both sides holding fans. Outside the north gate of the courtyard is "Juqiu Mountain" (45 meters long from north to south, 50 meters wide from east to west, and 8 meters high). According to old records: "When Dayu was controlling floods, he built this hill to observe the water potential." During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, King Yu's pavilion was built on the mound. Later, it fell into disrepair and was destroyed over time, and no buildings on the mound remained. The mound is now covered with weeds and trees. In 1974, archaeologists from Shandong Province and Dezhou City visited here for inspection and found a layer of gray soil. They also picked up ancient cultural relics such as a single-hole stone shovel, eggshell fragments, stone axes, pottery projectiles, and pottery spinning wheels. After identification by the Shandong Provincial Museum, these cultural relics are Longshan cultural relics, and the mounds belong to the "Longshan Cultural Sites".

In 1995, when the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government invested heavily in the construction of Yuwang Park, they piled soil into a large mound 15 meters high on the northeast side of "Juqiu Mountain" and surrounded it with cement frame blocks. To make it stable, 64 steps were built with stone strips on the south side of the mound to reach the top. An 8-meter-high, octagonal ancient-style pavilion was built on the top of the mound, which is called "King Yu Pavilion". The pavilion is topped by 16 vermilion pillars. Around the wooden top wall, there are paintings about Dayu's flood control. The entire "Yuwang Pavilion" is magnificent. Standing in the pavilion, people can feel the scenery and remember King Yu's achievements in flood control. Secondly, you can overlook the city of Yucheng and witness the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside. On the southeast side of Yuwang Pavilion, "Yuwang Lake" with a water surface area of ??25 acres has been excavated. The water is 2 meters deep and crystal clear. The lake is surrounded by weeping willows dotted with beautiful scenery.

Yucheng People’s Park is located at the junction of the old and new urban areas of Yu City. The park is adjacent to Tongqu Road, the main traffic artery running through the north and south of the old city, to the east, and to the south is Cultural Street and the green long river along the Luobei River. The main entrance of the park adopts the style of an antique archway, and the four words "People's Park" were inscribed by Comrade Wang Yuxi, Governor of Shandong Province. A total of more than 28,000 seedlings of various types are planted in the park, with a large, ruler-shaped lake and beautiful scenery. A children's paradise has also been built in the park, and the historical relics of two wells in one step have been restored, making it an ideal place for leisure and entertainment.
