Friends who like calligraphy should understand the truth, that is, how good is a calligraphy work, or is it better to have fewer words? I dare not say too much here, because I am not qualified yet. I can only say that it varies from person to person, depending on your previous preferences and appreciation.

Some people like works that say few words, such as: Moral Heavy Duty, Heavenly Rewarding Diligence, Quiet and Far-reaching. Some people also like works with many words, such as Qinyuanchun, Tengwangge and Moonlit Night on the Spring River.

If you haven't decided which one you should like by now, here I can give you some suggestions for your reference. For a word, if there are no special requirements, such as not being used in front of the door, shops and professional occasions, the average family and individual should try to choose works with many words, high style, elegant content, dignified and beautiful font, in line with traditional culture, beautiful posture, suitable for family humanities education, valuable and quality, and hang them in the living room, bedroom or study.

Why? In fact, everyone in the industry knows this truth, and those who have participated in the calligraphy competition have a better understanding, because under the same level of conditions, assuming that two works with more words and fewer words meet the requirements of the competition, the winning rate of the works with more words will definitely be higher than that of the works with fewer words.

There is a simple reason. Only calligraphy works with many words can better reflect a calligrapher's calligraphy level and skills. It includes knot, pen, composition, ink painting and so on, and many elements are in it. The works with few words, especially those with only three or four words, simply can't reflect the writer's level. It has always been suspected that these ink players don't have any calligraphy skills, and they are afraid to lose face and dare not write more. It is also said that if you look at works with fewer words, you can look at the fine print, which is not bad! Small print can also show basic skills. A real calligrapher won't change pens as soon as a work comes down.

On the other hand, it only takes a few words to write, and the time required for a large sum is also very short. Even if there is a little flaw, it can be repaired and covered up with a pen. For a multi-character calligraphy work, it is different, and the energy and time needed can be imagined. Sometimes if you make a mistake, you may lose everything, either give up or start over, otherwise it is not perfect.

Others say, who is a word of gold, right! It's a pity that people are figures and industry leaders. They have worked hard in the workplace for many years, and they are masters from theory to practice, but many of us are not. To put it mildly, I can only be regarded as a calligraphy lover. There is no end to learning, and it is good to be recognized and praised by the masters.

On the other hand, works with more words will definitely win higher awards and be more popular, provided that the level gap between the two works is not too big. If the strength of the two is far from each other, a high-level work is hundreds of times stronger than those full of parallel words even if one word is written.

If you are not an influential figure in higher vocational colleges and want to impress the judges and the audience with three or two sentences, it will always be a fantasy.

Even writers know themselves. ...
