Jiulong town is located in limestone mountainous area, where there are many grotesque peaks and grotesque caves, beautiful scenery and great potential for tourism resources development. 1990, Professor Chen Chuankang from the Department of Geography of Peking University led students to visit Germany and discovered this primitive scenery belt. After investigation and demonstration, he spoke highly of it: "Fly to Guilin Mountain, turn the Lijiang River into a scenic spot, the verandah welcomes the wonders, and the peaks vibrate in Kowloon". Chen, former director of the National Tourism Administration and chairman of the Guangdong Calligraphers Association, gave "great efforts" respectively. In order to make full use of the advantages of resources, with the strong support of superiors, jiulong town successfully launched the Yingxi LAM Raymond Corridor tourist line on May 28th, 1993. In recent years, after increasing capital investment, the supporting infrastructure construction in tourist areas has been improved, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists to visit. Gundam 1998, receiving 300,000 tourists, has become a popular scenic spot for tourists at home and abroad.
Jiulong town is located in the southwest of yingde city, on the beautiful forest corridor of Yingxi Peak, with beautiful scenery, picturesque scenery, rich resources and fertile land. There are many strange peaks and caves in the Rocky Mountains, forming a unique ecological environment. Known as "flying Guilin Mountain, turning Lijiang River into a bright one, welcoming the wonders of the verandah, Jiulong Peak Town". Yingxi LAM Raymond Corridor is one of the five tourist hotlines in Qingyuan at present, which attracts a large number of Chinese and foreign tourists and promotes the vigorous development of Kowloon's economy. According to incomplete statistics, the number of tourists to jiulong town reached 600,000 in 2006, 700,000 in 2007 and is expected to exceed 900,000 in 2008. In 2008, jiulong town was awarded the title of "Vibrant Guangdong-Guangdong Tourism Town" by Guangdong Provincial Tourism Bureau.
