Analysis: The establishment of the Tang Dynasty ushered in the prosperous era of China's calligraphy. The emperors in the Tang Dynasty attached great importance to calligraphy, and they all liked collecting it very much, which had a great and far-reaching influence on the development of calligraphy. Ou Yangxun was a famous calligrapher in the prosperous Tang Dynasty in China, and he had a high position in the history of calligraphy in China. His regular script is of epoch-making significance in the history of calligraphy. His regular script style is called "European style", and few people can surpass him so far.

By consulting relevant materials, this paper first discusses Ou Yangxun's life and historical background, which is the basis of Ou Yangxun's brilliant achievements in calligraphy art, and then focuses on Ou Yangxun's masterpiece "Jiuchenggong Liquan Ming", and finally determines the unique aesthetic style and artistic characteristics of European style. Exploring the aesthetic style and artistic features of Ou Yangxun's calligraphy is closely related to his life's calligraphy works.

Among his masterpieces, The Inscription of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace is the most appreciated by later generations, and has been greatly recognized by later generations. Until today's society, this post has also become an entry path for future generations to learn European style, which can be called a classic model for learning calligraphy. At the age of seventy-six, Ou Yangxun wrote "Ming of Liquan" in Jiucheng Palace, which is his masterpiece.

Since ancient times, many people have different opinions on Ou Yangxun's calligraphy, so I won't list them here. Out of my interest in "European style", I want to do further research on the artistic characteristics of "European style". I don't want to surpass others, but I just want to do my bit for the development of calligraphy.

The purpose of this paper is to further analyze the artistic features of Ou Yangxun's calligraphy through the analysis of Ou Yangxun's calligraphy work "Li Quan Ming in Jiucheng Palace". In the process of analysis, a series of research methods such as literature research and quantitative analysis have been adopted, and some innovative research results have been achieved. This paper finds some artistic features of "European style" through research, which will be described in detail in this paper.
