Relevant data of the Twelfth National Games in Wuhai City
after repeated revisions and soliciting opinions from various parties, the organizing Committee finally decided that the "Yellow River Dragon and Grassland Horse" created by Wang Meng in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province was the emblem of the 12th National Games in Inner Mongolia. The overall design is based on the combination of the Chinese characters cursive script "Wu" and "Wuhai", and at the same time, it is integrated with the Sun God rock painting and China seal, highlighting the cultural heritage of Wuhai, a calligraphy city in China. The mascot of this Games is the "Grape Doll" created by Dai Chenghe and Wu Xiao in Dalian. Wuhai is known as the "hometown of grapes" and won the "China Agricultural Expo Gold Award" twice. The "Grape Doll" is well-shaped, its head is made of grapes, and its left hand is held high to pay tribute to people. The wavy pattern of its legs represents the Yellow River, which embodies the warm hospitality, enterprising spirit and vitality of Wuhai people. Inner Mongolia designed a special poster for the first time in this sports meeting. The author is Tian Na of Hohhot. Six posters * * * respectively show the characteristics of Wuhai as "the city of calligraphy, the hometown of grapes, the desert oasis and the pearl of the Yellow River". As no suitable works were selected for the anthem, the organizing committee specially invited Wulan Tuoga, a famous musician from Inner Mongolia, and Marginal to create "Calling for Heroes" as the anthem.
