When dawn is about to dawn in the East, don't be too early. You are still young when you travel through the Qingshan Mountains, and the scenery here is uniquely beautiful.
The peak outside Huichang City is directly connected to the east. The soldier points to southern Guangdong, which is even more lush and green.
Translation:
The first light will appear in the east, but please don’t say you came early. I am still in my prime when I travel all over the Qingshan Mountains, and the scenery here is the best.
The peaks outside Huichang County lead directly to the East China Sea. The soldiers looked over and pointed to Guangdong, which was greener and greener.

Creative background:
This poem was written in July 1934 after Mao Zedong climbed a mountain in Huichang. During this period, Mao Zedong had no say in the party and the military, but he was not discouraged, adjusted his mentality, and insisted on his own views. In the days from 1931 to 1934 when he said he had no say, he concentrated on doing research, reading, and making suggestions to the central government instead of "idleness."
Ideological theme:
The tone of this poem is high-spirited and the language is majestic. It reflects Mao Zedong’s positive and optimistic mental state and perseverance, but there are also differences between the lines. It vaguely reveals the poet's worry and anger.
