Haizi (1964- 1989), formerly known as Cha Haisheng, is a contemporary young poet from Chawan Village, Gaohe Town, Huaining County, Anhui Province. Haizi grew up in the countryside. 1979 was admitted to the law department of Peking University. 1983 after graduation, Peking University was assigned to work in the philosophy department of China University of Political Science and Law. 1On March 26th, 989, he committed suicide near Shanhaiguan. He is only 25 years old.
