Liu, whose original name is Liu Boliang, male, Han nationality, nicknamed Shaoweng,. Born in Heilongjiang in 1960. Now lives in Beijing.
He joined the Communist Party of China in 1985. He graduated from Liaoning Normal University in 1982 majoring in calligraphy and studied under Professor Yu Zhiyuan, President of the Liaoning Provincial Calligraphy Association. Graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts majoring in Chinese painting in 1987.
In 1992, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under professors Ouyang Zhongshi and Yao Zhihua. In 2003, I studied under Zeng Xiang.
In 2007, the 12th Russian World Peace Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition won the World Peace Award.
In 2009, India won the Renaissance Award at the 14th World Peace Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
In 2015, he participated in the "Calligraphy and Painting Advanced Class at Peking University Masters Studio" and studied under Hu Kangmei, Zeng Xiang, Zhang Ji, Wo Xinghua, Shi Kai and Cheng Dali.
In 2018, he studied in the "Mr. Zhang Xuguang's calligraphy advanced training class in Bei Lanting". Learned from Mr. Zhang Xuguang.
