What are the outstanding regular script works in Tian Yingzhang?

Tian Yingzhang's excellent regular script work is Preface to Wang Tengting, which is called Preface to Wang Tengting's Autumn Farewell, also known as Preface to Wang Tengting's Poems, and is a famous parallel prose.

Wang Teng Pavilion is located on the banks of Ganjiang River in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. It was built when Tang Gaozu's son Wang Teng Li Yuanying was appointed governor of Hongzhou (AD 653). Later, Yan Boyu was the shepherd of Hongzhou, and the banquet group was on the pavilion. Wang Bo's father passed this and published it extemporaneously.

Through the description of the situation, scenery and banquet in Tengwangge area, this paper expresses the author's feeling that he can't be a volunteer.

The success or failure of calligraphy works should not only have beautiful appearance, but also have spiritual connotation, which refers to the inner charm of calligraphy and is the soul of calligraphy art.

Wang Sengqian, a calligrapher in the Southern Qi Dynasty, said: "The spirit of books is the highest, and the quality of deeds is the second. Both of them can surpass the ancients."

Meaning of form and quality

Form refers to the visible objects on paper, such as the thickness, length, straightness, rigidity and softness of lines, the skew of body size, the vertical and horizontal opening and closing degree of regular arrangement, the density, lightness, dryness and wetness of ink, etc. It belongs to the category of form and quality, and also refers to artistic appearance.

The true artistic spirit lies in the "emotion" of calligraphy, that is, the expression of spirit. It is through the movement of pen and ink that words have both ever-changing beautiful forms and ups and downs of lively spirit.

The so-called "pen changes with feelings, meaning speaks with words" and "shape and life follow paper", so there is no magical calligraphy, only clay sculptures of ordinary people.
