Since Du Mu in the Tang Dynasty and Wang Yucheng in the early Song Dynasty were demoted to Huangzhou, the reputation of Chibi has become more and more popular. When the great writer Su Shi of the Northern Song Dynasty was demoted to Huang, he wrote two poems on Red Cliff, "Niannujiao·Chibi Nostalgia" and other famous works, which made Red Cliff famous both at home and abroad. Therefore, in the late Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the name was changed to "Dongpo Chibi". The pavilion at Chibi on the east slope was first built in the early years of the Western Jin Dynasty, about 1,700 years ago. It has been rebuilt many times and now covers an area of ??more than 500 acres. The building consists of two halls (Erfu Hall, Xuetang), a third floor (Qixia Tower, Hanhui Tower, and Yishuang Tower), two pavilions (Bei Pavilion, Liuxian Pavilion), one Zhai (Gairan Zhai), and one statue. (Statue of Dongpo), Yifeng (Scissors Peak), Jiuting (Fanggui Pavilion, Sleeping Fairy Pavilion, Po Fairy Pavilion, Jiangjiang Pavilion, Wenhe Pavilion, Kuaizai Pavilion, Lansheng Pavilion, Wangjiang Pavilion, Yuhua Pavilion). Among them, there is a large wooden wall in the Erfu Hall, with the full text of "Red Cliff Ode" engraved on the front and back; the Liuxian Pavilion has a complete picture of Su Dongpo's visit to Red Cliff; the Stele Pavilion has more than a hundred stone tablets, all engraved with Su Dongpo's calligraphy. The calligraphy and poetry of Dongpo layman are everywhere, which makes people think about the majestic and heroic figure of this eternal romantic figure! The ancient buildings in Chibi are located on the mountain, simple and elegant, and have a strong local style. Red Cliff inscriptions are famous throughout the country. There are nearly 300 calligraphy and painting inscriptions by famous people from all over the world, including more than 100 calligraphy and painting inscriptions by Su Shi, ranking first among the Su calligraphy inscriptions in the country.
