The mountain peak can be divided into two parts, connected by a sky bridge. The temples on both sides are dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha on one side and Maitreya Buddha on the other. Sakyamuni is called the modern Buddha, and Maitreya Buddha is called the future Buddha. Therefore, the distribution of temples also proves the process of alternation from the present to the future. The first stone in Qianshan Mountain is a strange stone standing on the top of the mountain. On it is an inscription by Yan Liang, a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty: "The first stone in Qianshan Mountain". The edict stele was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The inscription describes Mount Fanjing as an "ancient Buddhist ashram" and "the ancestral home of all the famous mountains in the world."
