According to legend, every time Wang Xizhi finished writing, he went to the pond in front of the door to wash the ink and stone. As time went on, the water in the pond turned black. "The middle school books in the pool are all black" has become a portrayal of Wang Xizhi's hard practice of calligraphy. Once, Wang Xizhi saw an old woman selling a basket of bamboo fans, but because the fans were very simple, few people bought them, and the old woman was very anxious. Wang Xizhi sympathized with the old woman and said to her, "You don't have calligraphy and painting on this bamboo fan, so of course you can't sell it. How about I write you an inscription? Seeing his enthusiasm, the old woman gave him a fan to write. Wang Xizhi took a pen, wrote five words on each fan and gave them back to the old woman. The old woman thought his handwriting was scrawled and worried that it wouldn't sell. Wang Xizhi comforted her and said, "Don't worry, just tell the fan buyer that it was written by Wang Youjun." The old woman did as he said. As soon as people heard that it was Wang Xizhi's handwriting, they rushed to sell it, and a basket of fans soon sold out.

Story 3: Wang Xizhi loves geese.

Legend has it that there was a Taoist who always wanted to ask Wang Xizhi to write a book, Tao Te Ching. He heard that Wang Xizhi likes white geese best, and he likes their noble character, high head posture and loud cries, so he specially raised a group of white geese.

One day, Wang Xizhi passed by the Taoist priest's house and saw a flock of white geese swimming in the pool in front of the door, spreading their wings, flapping the water, shouting with their heads held high and swimming forward. Wang Xizhi was fascinated by this scene and refused to leave for a long time. He asked the Taoist priest to sell him the goose. The first gentleman smiled and said, "Since you like it so much, I will give you all these geese. But there is one requirement. I want you to copy a copy of Tao Te Ching for me. "

Without saying anything, Wang Xizhi copied this passage for the Taoist priest on the spot. The Taoist priest was very happy and immediately put the goose in a cage and gave it to Wang Xizhi to express his gratitude. At present, there is a goose pond in Lanting Park outside Shaoxing. There is a stone tablet on the pond. It is said that the word "goose pond" was written by Wang Xizhi, and the word "goose pond" was written by his youngest son, Wang Xianzhi.

Story 4: Seiji Ozawa's self-confidence

Seiji Ozawa is a world-famous symphony conductor. In the final of a world-class competition, he played according to the score given by the jury, and he was keenly aware of the discordant voice. At first, he thought there was something wrong with the band, so he asked the band to stop and play again, but soon he found that it was still wrong: he thought there must be something wrong with the score, so he asked the judges present. At this time, the composer present and the authority of the jury insisted that the score was absolutely fine, but he was wrong. Facing a lot of music masters and authorities, he thought over and over again, and finally said firmly and loudly, "No! The score is definitely wrong! " As soon as the voice fell, warm applause rang out from the judges' bench to congratulate him on winning the competition. It turned out that this was a "trap" carefully designed by the judges to test whether the conductor could stick to his correct opinion when he found that the score was "rejected" by the authorities. The first two mistakes in music score were finally eliminated by echoing the opinions of authoritative people, but Seiji Ozawa won the World Conductor Competition because of his confidence.

Story 5: Sculpting life.

During the Renaissance, Italian sculptor Michelangelo spent four years completing the world-famous marble sculpture David, which is now in the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. Whenever a friend asks Michelangelo the secret of how to carve a lifelike portrait of David, he just says simply, "David is already in this marble, and I just chipped away the stone that doesn't belong to David!" "

In fact, the success of each of us is not to completely transform ourselves, but to present our beautiful "true colors" to others. Success is to show your own advantages properly.

Story 6: Pay attention to the section

One day, Michelangelo had just finished a painting. When he was gazing at it thoughtfully, a friend called and asked him what he was thinking. He replied, "I'm thinking of modifying this part of the statue, polishing that part a little, softening this part and making the muscle lines stand out a little ..."

The friend said impatiently, "These are just small steps!" "

Michelangelo responded seriously: "Maybe you can say that, but remember, adding up all the sections is perfection, and perfection is by no means a section!" "

The reason why we pay attention to details is that in Michelangelo's hands, so many perfect works can be born. Look at ourselves. If we start planning ourselves at ordinary times and start from bit by bit, then you just need to keep smiling all the time. The next thing to do is to seize the opportunity, be full of confidence and meet the challenge! Believe that success will belong to you, because you have taken a solid first step towards success.
