Why can Vietnamese characters be successfully alphabetized?

The successful alphabetization of Vietnamese characters is due to the convenience of typing, telegraphy and communication. This is also very conducive to eliminating illiteracy and popularizing education. There is little difference between the dialects in central and southern parts of northern Vietnam, which is basically understandable. After the implementation of phonetic symbols, once the letters are mastered, reading is possible and easy to understand.

Characteristics of Successful Alphabetization of Vietnamese Characters

First of all, the new alphabetized characters will not change the daily oral communication. The education of the new generation of characters is more popular than that of Chinese characters, so alphabetization greatly improves their literacy rate, but the problem of cultural division brought about by alphabetization is somewhat troublesome. For example, the new generation wants to trace their family, just like reading a book.

If a new generation of historical researchers want to study the history four or five years ago, they must look up historical materials. At first glance, they don't know Chinese characters at all. When they look at the ancestral tablets, they can't recognize their ancestors' names. Another problem is that the inheritance of calligraphy has also begun to die out. Without Chinese characters, they want to preserve art and tradition. Therefore, they began to try to create letters in Spring Festival couplets.
