In Gulang County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, there is really such a crazy stone, but it is not the priceless stone in the movie, but a huge stone. Why is it called madness? There is a story in it.
Crazy rocks, difficult migration
Now this "crazy stone" is staying in the center of Golden Triangle Square in Gulang County. After measurement, this stone is two stories high and weighs hundreds of tons. Only a dozen adults can join hands to completely surround it! This boulder is a natural stone without any processing. It was not here originally, but located in Gulang Gorge, about 7 kilometers outside Gulang City. It has a long history.

They decided to use flatbed trucks and cranes for joint consignment. 20 10, the massive project was officially opened. The local government is very clever. In order to add mystery to this boulder, some Taoist priests specially arranged to pay homage to it to show their respect and tied it with red silk ropes.
Through the joint efforts of four cranes, the boulder was successfully hoisted and placed on a flat car with more than 300 wheels. The flatbed car started slowly and started to move for 9 kilometers. The police car honked all the way, which was spectacular. There were crowds of onlookers along the way, and many people were still burning paper money to worship.
The journey was arduous and grand, but it was a great event at that time. All the local stations broadcast live, and because of the madness of migration, the Crazy Stone got its name. In the Golden Triangle Square, the boulder was escorted down and located in the center of the square, becoming a unique landmark in Gulang County. From then on, almost all the tourists here will come here to take a group photo!
There are different opinions about the legend of boulder.
When it comes to the origin of this boulder, there are different opinions, and there are three names handed down. One is Tatar, which is recorded in the annals of Gulang County. In the Ming Dynasty, the doctor of punishments passed Gulang County. Chen Yi is a good drinker. The first thing he did when he came here was to drink. He told the shopkeeper to take out a bottle of wine and have a drink, which made him feel very sweet and memorable! Chen Fei wondered how this poor country could brew manna.
He couldn't help blurting out his doubts to the locals. People took him to the boulder and said to him, "Look, this stone is immersed in Gulang Gorge. As long as you use the water from it to make wine, the wine will be sweet and clear. " Surprised, even wonderful! And wrote three big characters on this boulder: Ganjiushi.
Another name is "Ganzhou Stone". Legend has it that this huge stone is a spiritual stone discarded by the goddess of mending heaven. At that time, Nu Wa was very anxious, and the boulder fell on a mountain, blocking many people's way. This stone is too big for hundreds of boys in the county to carry together. Everyone was helpless and came to Laihe Temple to pray for the help of Nu Wa. Nu Wa Niangniang knew she was in trouble, so she made a magic whip. As long as she beats the boulder with this magic whip, the boulder will move forward.
Sure enough, the people whipped it with God's whip, and the boulder ran a few steps forward until it came to Gulang gorge, where it was safely located, so the people called it "Ganzhou Stone", which means stone!
The last reliable name is "Shan Zhi Si Tong". It is said that a giant bird flew to Gulang Gorge in ancient times. This is very hateful. It often grabs the surrounding mountains with its big paws. Once caught, the rubble on the mountain often falls, and people around it are often hit by rubble for no reason, which is extremely painful.
A fairy passed by here, helped people drive away the big birds, and made many golden beans to compensate people for their losses. Before leaving, the fairy made this boulder and put it here. As long as the big bird makes trouble again, this boulder will support all the stones falling from the mountain, so the title of "supporting stone" has been handed down.
"Stone" ran away and Gulang County became a tourist city.
