Is there an advantage for junior high school students to participate in the calligraphy hard pen competition and write running script?

If there are squares on the competition paper, it's better to write regular script or official script instead of running script (the last time I participated in the competition, I wrote running script, but the winners all wrote one by one)

If there is no box on the competition paper, you can type it yourself, but it is easy to write crooked running script, and it is really not easy to practice a good running script.
