Today, Gui Hu is also the location of the District Cultural Management Office, with rich cultural relics collection and exhibition, various types and numerous treasures. Cultural relics unearthed from Neolithic Age to Ming and Qing Dynasties, including portrait bricks, were exhibited in Japan and the United States, which achieved good social and economic benefits. Gui Hu is also the base of moral education for teenagers and the window of spiritual civilization construction. The "Xindu Hall of Fame" shows the graphic deeds of many gangs in Yingjie since the Han Dynasty. There are not only historical figures, but also pioneers of the May 4th Movement in modern times, patriotic anti-Japanese celebrities, Hongyan revolutionary martyrs and contemporary literary masters, which have profound educational significance.
In addition, Yang Sheng 'an Research Association, Xindu Oriental Culture and Art Exchange Center and Xindu Painting Academy are all in the park. Various academic exchanges and cultural and artistic activities have endowed the famous holy lake garden with new cultural connotations. Guihu Park is located in the southwest of Xindu District, just separated from Sheng 'an Guihu by a wall. It is the expansion and extension of the holy lake, and it is a self-contained antique garden. The overall design of Guihu Park highlights the two themes of "Gui" and "Lake". Its architectural layout and scenic spots are in harmony with the style of Shenghu Lake, and echo with the ancient city wall and tower of Xindu (Guihumen, also known as the new south gate), the falling moon tower, the interesting building and the observation deck. Guihu Park is dominated by the traditional style of Sichuan classical gardens, but it is not eclectic. It absorbs the advantages of local gardens and forms its own unique garden style, with strong reality and density contrast.
During the construction of Guihu Park, according to the original landform, including trees and bamboo forests, the Yinma River (Qingyuan River) with a length of 1000 meters was reserved. The river course and its natural scenery transform a large area of low-lying land into an artificial lake, and the soil dug in the lake is built into hills, forming scattered islands and beautiful and smooth lakeshore lines. Guihu Park covers an area of 208 mu, including 82 mu of water surface. The buildings on the lake have absorbed the essence of domestic garden architecture art, with ingenious structure and exquisite craftsmanship. The roofs of various buildings, pavilions and pavilions are covered with green glazed tiles. Bridges such as flat bridges, arch bridges and curved bridges are mostly made of white marble or granite, which shows the luxurious style of the former palace gardens. It is another pearl embedded in the historical and cultural city of Sichuan, and it is also another garden scenic spot with beautiful scenery and elegant architecture displayed on the Chengdu Plain.
The gate of Guihu Park in Xiongzhen, Shishi is resplendent, and the plaque was inscribed by the former Minister of National Defense General Zhang Aiping; Five pairs of couplets were inscribed by Chu Tunan, Zhou, Huang Zhiquan, respectively. Entering the door, green grass, bamboo forests, flowers and cicadas are in full bloom, which is full of vitality of the new garden.
Walking along the lake, the shore is circuitous and the road is curved. On the left are streams, harbors and flower beds, and on the right are mounds, Woods and banks. Yinma River winds south, flowing water gurgles. It is said that during the Three Kingdoms period, Shu Han soldiers often drank horses here. Although this matter is unknown, from the nearby places of interest, such as Mi Mou's Eight Diagrams, Juntun Town and Ma Chao's Tomb, the rumor of "drinking horses" is well-founded. On the Yinma River, in the bamboo forest not far from Xue Shiyan's remains, is Ai Wu's tomb. Ai Wu (1904- 1992), formerly known as Tang Daogeng, was born in Liu Qing Town, the new capital, and was a famous contemporary writer in China. Ai Wu's tomb is made of red sand boulders, and a bronze bust of him stands at the top. The inscription behind him recorded his life; The "Tomb of Ai Wu" on the stone tablet on the chest was written by Ba Jin, a master of contemporary literature. There is a square marble in front of the tomb, and the upper part is engraved with a motto of Ai Wu: "People should flow, flow and move forward like a river; Like a river, those who sing, sing and rejoice bravely walk on this bumpy and thorny road. "There is a string of camellias embedded below. Motto, Marble, Camellia, This is the extraordinary life of this southbound writer and wandering writer.
Tianxiang Garden "Tianxiang Garden" is named after the poem of the Tang Dynasty poet Song, that is, "laurel in the moon, fragrant clouds outside". This garden is located in the center of Gui Hu Civil Affairs Office, surrounded by figures and animals carved with green grass and white marble. Its main building is a pavilion about 30 meters high, which stands in the clouds, hence the name Yunwai Building. This building faces the lake from north to south, and there is a stone platform foundation up to 6 meters below. For example, the foundation is carved with white marble, with a total length of180m. * * * Fence 108, carved flowers 108. There are not only four famous flowers for viewing, but also some farm fruits and vegetables such as cucumber, towel gourd and bitter gourd. On the red sandstone imperial road in the middle of the 32 steps in front of the pedestal, the pattern of "Nine Dragons Playing Beads" is engraved. Nine dragons swim between clouds and water, full of domineering and exquisite carving skills. Yunwai Building is a square five-story building with spiral steps inside. Its plaque hung under the eaves of the tallest building and was inscribed by Mr. Qi Gong, Chairman of China Calligraphers Association.
