Yuan Qi Zhuangzi was drawn by Japanese cartoonist Yoshino Mayi (ヨシノサツキ). It was originally a short work published in April 2008 by another cartoon, Angang Power, but due to its popularity, it began to appear in the online comic magazine in 2009. Taking Wudao Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture as the stage, this book describes the daily communication with the people on the island after An Tian, a handsome calligrapher who grew up in Nagasaki Prefecture, moved to the island. However, the novel to be serialized in the No.1 1 1 issue of Angang monthly magazine dates back six years and describes An Tian's high school days.
