In fact, just like ordinary letters, for example, a letter is to write down what you want to say and show it to the designated person (relatives, friends, etc.). Therefore, the language when writing a letter should be simple and natural, and the language should be cordial. , decent, and truly convey your thoughts to the other party.
Letters have a fixed format. Letters generally include six parts: salutation, greeting, text, blessing, signature, and date.
1. Title: It should be decided based on the relationship between the writer and the recipient. The author of the example article wrote to his cousin "Xiaoxi", so he called her "Sister Xiaoxi".
The relationship between primary school students and the recipients can be roughly divided into two types: themselves and their elders, and themselves and their peers. If it is an elder relative, just write the title, such as "aunt", "uncle", etc., and there is no need to write the surname; if it is not a relative, the surname or name should be added before the title, such as "Aunt Song", "Uncle Liu Hai" wait. Among peers, it is generally necessary to add a given name before the address, such as "Classmate Zhao Mengtong", "Sister Xinyu", etc. You can also add modifying words such as "respected" and "missing you" before the "title" to express some of your feelings for the recipient.
The title is the beginning of the letter and should be written in the top of the head. Add a colon after the title.
2. Greetings: If the recipient is an elder, you can write "Hello"; or "How are you?" etc.; if the recipient is a commoner, you can write "Hello"; if the recipient is not A person usually writes "Hello everyone" or "Hello everyone", but cannot write "Hello you" ("you" cannot be added after "you").
Write the greeting on a new line with two blank spaces.
3. Text: This is the main part of the letter. You must write down what you want to tell the other party directly and clearly, and you must write your true feelings. If you want to say more than one thing, write a paragraph for each thing. Don't use fancy words in your letters, let alone be sincere.
The main text can be written immediately after the greeting, or it can be written on a separate line with two spaces.
4. Blessings: After writing the main text, you usually have to pay tribute or blessing to the other party. Start a new line, leave two blank spaces to write "Sincerely" or "Wish you", and then start a new line and write "Salute" or "Health" and other blessings in the top space. Among classmates, blessings can be written such as "I wish you progress in your studies."
5. Signature: Write your name on the lower right corner of the letter paper. You can also indicate your identity in the front, such as "Student Cui Lin", "Nephew Hongyang", etc.
6. Date: Write the specific time of writing the letter directly below the signature. The year, month and day should be written clearly (it is wrong not to write the year) for future reference by the recipient.
After writing the letter, filling out the envelope, affixing enough stamps, you can send it.
(Example)
Sister Xiaoxi:
Hello!
It is winter now, and our hometown has turned into a silver world again. What's the climate like in Canada? Is it cold too? I heard from my mother that you are going back to China next month. Please come to my house then, okay?
I am still studying in a painting class. A few days ago, one of my paintings won a silver medal in the "China-US Children's Environmental Art Calligraphy Photography Competition", which brought glory to the school. At the award ceremony, the principal personally hung the silver medal around my neck. Not to mention how happy I was.
I play the violin every day, and the teacher says I’m doing okay and making progress. I am now fascinated by the violin and I am determined to become a qualified violinist.
The above are my results. I still have some shortcomings, such as speaking English. My spoken English is always not good. It would be great if you could come back next month and teach me a lesson! Okay, let’s talk about this. Hope you come back soon.
Sincerely,
Salutes
Your cousin: Zhang Zhao
