Calligraphy has a very magical attraction for me. Calligraphy and I are inseparable and dependent on each other. When I was nine years old, I developed an indissoluble bond with calligraphy.
Some great calligraphers in ancient times had to study hard and practice hard to write good calligraphy. I envied them very much, so, following the footsteps of the sages, I also embarked on the path of learning calligraphy. As soon as I came to the calligraphy class, I was infected by the rich atmosphere of calligraphy. The calligraphy written by every student there is very beautiful, and there is a faint scent of ink in the room. After asking, I found out that these students had been practicing for two or three years. It seemed that I could only catch up with them by putting in twice as much effort as others. So, on weekends, I came to the calligraphy class early to practice calligraphy before class. When others were resting, I continued to practice by myself. When the teacher gave instructions, I listened carefully and accepted the teacher's instruction. After school, I wrote more than others. After a while, these actions were seen by the teacher, remembered in his heart, and praised by the teacher. On Children's Day, students have to write works, and I am no exception. Because I was writing on rice paper, I was not used to it. I just picked up the pen and wrote a stroke on the rice paper. I found that there was a lot of ink on the rice paper, which was out of proportion to the next stroke. I had no choice but to rewrite it. After I adjusted the ink, I started writing for the second time. I picked up the brush, smoothed the tip of the brush, and was about to start. I finally mastered the weight of the stroke, and the words I wrote were much better than the first time. Slowly, I finished writing this piece of work. The teacher said that it was very good, but I still need to practice more seriously and not be arrogant.
In the course of more than a year of study, not only my handwriting has made great progress, but also I have learned many truths: "Only when you calm down can you write well." Learning calligraphy also made me realize the overall spirit of teamwork: as long as one stroke is not written well, it will affect the beauty of the entire calligraphy, just like if individual members of a team do not work well together, it will affect the entire team. "I love calligraphy because it is a unique Chinese art and a long-lasting wonder in traditional Chinese culture.
