According to the relevant information of Shanxi Jinsui Cultural and Educational Development Foundation, on March 4th, Duan Yun, his daughter Duan Xiaolan and his son Duan donated 1.5 million yuan to the Foundation, and Duan Xiaolan's sons Hao Wenhua and Hao also donated 3,000 yuan to the Foundation.
Duan Yun (1912–1997), formerly known as Duan Lianrong, was born in Puxian County, Shanxi Province, and was an economist, calligrapher and poet. After liberation, he successively served as deputy minister of the Southwest Ministry of Finance, deputy director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Committee, deputy director of the Office of Premier the State Council, and deputy director of the State Planning Commission (ministerial level).
