He has been the editor and creator of People's Pictorial and People's Fine Arts Publishing House, the director of Chinese painting teaching and research section of Minzu University of China (later Minzu University of China), the deputy director, tutor and professor of postgraduate studio, and the member of China Artists Association and China Calligraphy Association.
