About the author: Peng Yixun, born in 195 1, whose real name is Leshan Zi. Brother Yixun is talented, eager to learn and good at repairing, and integrates painting and calligraphy, decorative design, literature and drama, all of which are in the realm. Calligraphy has won the spirit of Jin people, vigorous and simple, informal, sweet and vulgar, clever in seeing mistakes, and full of aura everywhere. Although Brother Yi Xun is famous for his book title, he is also proficient in landscape flower-and-bird freehand brushwork, taking the road of Ming and Qing Dynasties, giving up the flashy state of ink painting and avoiding brushwork. Calligraphy works have been selected for national, provincial and municipal awards for more than 20 times, and won the second prize in the 2008 Olympic Calligraphy Competition.
