Sima you
Sima You (248-283), with a big word (yóu) and a small word (Fu Tao) [1]. Wenxian County (now Wenxian County, Henan Province) is a native of Hanoi County, the second son of Emperor Wen of Jin Dynasty, and the same mother and brother as Sima Yan of Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty. His mother is Wang Yuanji, a civilized queen, imperial clan and calligrapher of the Western Jin Dynasty.
Sima You is gentle and wise and can govern the country because his uncle Sima Shi has no children and was adopted to him. After the establishment of the Western Jin Dynasty, the King of Qi was appointed, which made great achievements and won the hearts of the people. In the later years of Emperor Wudi, there was a growing demand for the succession of the King of Qi inside and outside the imperial court. Xun Xu and Feng Shu took the opportunity to enter slanderers and push you out of the dynasty. Sima You was angry and hated it. He vomited blood and died at the age of 36. [2]
Sima You wrote two volumes, Sui Shu Ji and Historical Records, which are now lost. At the same time, he is good at calligraphy. In Wang Sengqian's On Books in Southern Qi Dynasty, it is said that "the kings of Jin and Qi wrote books as models".
