If you want to take a day trip to Fangshan in Beijing, I especially recommend you to go to Yunju Temple. It is basically enough to visit these two scenic spots in one day. 1. Yunju Temple
Yunju Temple , located in Shuitou Village, Dashiwo Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, 70 kilometers away from the city center. Yunju Temple was built in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty. It was first named "Zhiquan Temple" and later renamed "Yunju Temple". It covers an area of ??0.07 square kilometers. After successive renovations, it has formed five courtyards and six palaces. The scenic spot consists of Yunju Temple, Shijingshan Sutra Cave, and Tang and Liao pagodas, which constitute a treasure trove of Chinese Buddhist cultural characteristics.
Yunju Temple has successively won the honorary titles of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, National AAAA Tourist Attraction, Beijing Civilized Tourist Attraction, and Beijing Patriotism Education Base.

Fangshan Shihuadong The scenic spot is one of the largest karst cave groups in northern China. The geological landscape of the caves is typical, diverse, natural, complete and rare. It brings together the essence of the north and south cave landscapes and is known as "Underground Geological Wonders, Karst Cave Museum".
Fangshan Shihuadong Scenic Area is a karst cave and a secondary chemical sedimentation landscape in the cave. The scenic area covers an area of ??84.66 square kilometers. There are more than 100 karst caves that have been proven and verified. Due to the typical nature of the geological landscape, Its diversity, naturalness, completeness and rarity are well-known at home and abroad, and it is known as an encyclopedia of geological knowledge.

How to get there
Ride: Apple There is a direct shuttle bus from the Park Metro to Shihuadong Scenic Area, departing at 9 am and returning at 14:00; there is the 917 Shihuadong Scenic Area Special Line starting from the overpass, and the 43rd Shihuadong Special Line from Liangxiang Ximen Station;
By car: Take the Fangshan (Dajian Road, Yancun) exit of the Beijing-Shijiazhuang Expressway and follow the direction of Hebei Town (Yandong Road) to Shihuadong; exit the Fangshan Liangxiang Airport exit of the Beijing-Shijiazhuang Expressway and pass through Qinglong Lake and Beichanying to Shihuadong.
