The best attractions in one-day trip to Fangshan, Beijing

As a member of Beidiao, I have stayed in Fangshan for 4 years. I have visited basically all the scenic spots in Fangshan. If you want to take a day trip to Fangshan in Beijing, I especially recommend you to go to Yunju Temple. It is basically enough to visit these two scenic spots in one day. 1. Yunju Temple

Yunju Temple , located in Shuitou Village, Dashiwo Town, Fangshan District, southwest of Beijing, 70 kilometers away from the city center. Yunju Temple was built in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty. It was first named "Zhiquan Temple" and later renamed "Yunju Temple". It covers an area of ??0.07 square kilometers. After successive renovations, it has formed five courtyards and six palaces. The scenic spot consists of Yunju Temple, Shijingshan Sutra Cave, and Tang and Liao pagodas, which constitute a treasure trove of Chinese Buddhist cultural characteristics.

It brings together the essence of the north and south cave landscapes and is known as "Underground Geological Wonders, Karst Cave Museum".

Fangshan Shihuadong Scenic Area is a karst cave and a secondary chemical sedimentation landscape in the cave. The scenic area covers an area of ??84.66 square kilometers. There are more than 100 karst caves that have been proven and verified. How to get there
