The main attractions of Baishixi

Baishixi originates from Penglai Town, Wenchang City, flows through Dapo Town, crosses Baishixi in Dongchang Farm and flows into xinqiao town, Wenchang City, with a total flow of 18. 13 km. The green trees on both sides of the strait are lush, the white water is faint, and the quiet environment like brocade embroidery is quiet and orderly, combining rigidity with softness. Baishixi Martyrs Memorial Pavilion is located in qiongshan district State-owned Dongchang Farm (opposite Baishixi Waterfall). 199/kloc-0 was completed in February, 1992. The exhibition hall covers an area of 15 mu, and * * * raised funds145,000 yuan. The Chinese character 12 on the front of the stone tablet was inscribed by calligrapher Zheng Zhicong. The four sides of the monument are inlaid with black marble, and the front is engraved with inscriptions, which concisely summarizes the historical contribution and status of Baishixi area. The monument is 8 meters high, with the front "Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs in Baishixi Area" and the back "Revolutionary Martyrs are immortal". The base of the monument is engraved with a list of revolutionary martyrs. In addition, two pavilions were built for tourists to visit. Baishixi area is an old revolutionary base area. There are 36 1 martyrs and thousands of people who died for the revolution in this area. The exhibition hall was built by former Hainan Qiongzong veterans Wang Kun, Wang Ruofu, Lin Hongsheng and Li Enming.
