Dacheng Mountain Scenic Area includes Dacheng Mountain, Zushiling, Hongyun Cliff, Sun Island, Zhou Shi and other scenic spots. Dacheng Mountain is located in the southeast of the city and belongs to the residual vein of Xuefeng Mountain, which was formed in Precambrian about 500-700 million years ago. The highest peak is 724 meters above sea level and covers an area of about 5000 mu. Based on this, the Mahayana Sect of Buddhism has a strong incense, hence the name Dacheng Mountain. The parent material of mountain soil is mostly sand shale, and the soil developed from it is loose and fertile, with good permeability and water storage performance, so the vegetation in this area is lush and beautiful. Soil and water conservation on the mountain is good, and waterfalls with flowing springs can be seen everywhere, especially waterfalls with a height of 72.438+02 meters.
Zushiling and Dacheng Mountain come down in one continuous line, and their natural conditions are basically similar. The elevation of the main peak is1072m, which is the highest point in the city. Legend has it that in the past, a stone fell from the sky and attached to the top of the mountain. When the sky is full of sunshine, it is amazing and regarded as a lucky thing. Craftsmen were asked to carve stone carvings into Buddha statues, called ancestors, and build temples to worship them. During the reign of Daoguang Xu Bing, Hanlin sent Li Zitang to visit here in his later years and wrote "Song of Mountain God's Prayer", which was highly praised. Hongyun Temple is 3 kilometers away from the foot of Dacheng Mountain. According to the county records, in the forty-third year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, King Jin Jiangchuan of Dacheng Mountain visited here and wrote the word "Good luck and scenic spot" in beautiful handwriting, which is worthy of being a fine calligraphy. Hongyunyan is famous for cutting the foothills of two mountains. On both sides of the rock, Peng spreads his wings and bulges like a bird's back in the middle, forming a natural cave with open doors and spectacular scenery. From the mouth of the cave to the mouth of the cave, there are three layers, namely, upper, middle and lower layers. There is a buddhist nun in the middle of the cave, where Guanyin worships Buddha. Later generations made many pilgrimages here. There are many poems about tourism, which are collections of scenery, places of interest and historical sites. Sun Island is located on the Zijiang River at the foot of Dacheng Mountain, covering an area of nearly 200 mu. The island is covered with lush vegetation. There are many sunshine hours here, and the island is surrounded by natural bathing places, where you can take a cold bath or sunbathe, hence the name Sun Island. Stone Boat is located in Cao Shi Village, 8 kilometers southwest of Dacheng Mountain. It is named stone boat because there are stones like boats. Legend has it that a stone flew from outer space when the female disaster filled the sky and turned into a stone boat, which is one of the scenic spots in the city. There are many landscapes on the mountain, including Qibu Jinqiao, Duck Climbing Tree, Crystal Qiongge, Yaotai Looking at the Sun, Dragon Nose Spray, Tongluotan Waterfall, Tortoise and Rabbit Race, Wolong Swimming, 180,000 Maos, Longtan Sandie Pond, Eagle Mouth Cliff and Baiyingzui Cliff. Decorated in the green mountains with flowers and birds, it is picturesque, which makes the wanderers at home and abroad fascinated and linger.
