Among them, Shengxuan has strong water absorption and hydrophilicity, and it is easy to produce rich Mo Yun changes, which are difficult for unskilled people to master.
Cooked Xuan is coated with alum during processing, so the paper is harder than raw Xuan and has weak water absorption capacity. When used, the ink color will not disperse, but the written strokes can not show the change of wet ink, so it is generally used for meticulous painting rather than calligraphy. Of course, there are special circumstances, such as writing small characters. Because it is necessary to show very delicate brushstrokes, it is very appropriate to use cooked propaganda.
Semi-cooked Xuan is made from raw Xuan, and its water absorption capacity is between the first two. Yu Ban Xuan belongs to this category. In addition, Qi Ming's personal preference is to use hand-woven edge paper, semi-cooked, and generally not inked.
Second, if the ink is fast, you can consider "thickening" the ink in the process of mixing with clear water, that is, don't add too much water, and then try to click a corner of the writing paper to see the ink speed and size range: if the ink is still fast and wide, the ink needs to be thicker, and then you can add some ink appropriately; If the inking speed is slow and the range is small, you can dilute it appropriately, that is to say, add a little water. At the same time, when adding water, it is recommended to use ink drops (also called water drops).
