Master Sheng 'an and a Buddhist monk

Master Sheng An (A.D. 1686- 1734), a native of Changshu, Jiangsu Province, was born in a scholarly family for generations. He didn't eat meat or fish since he was a child, and he had the ambition to go out of the dust when he was a teenager. When his father died young, his mother Zhang knew that his son had good roots and ordered him to become a monk. At the age of seven, Li was chosen as buddhist nun's master. He is smart and handsome, and never forgets the classics. /kloc-he was ordained at the age of 0/5, and he was a master of poetry and calligraphy, but he didn't immediately forget the major events of life and death. In A.D. 17 14, the 28-year-old master went to Chongfu (Temple) to meet the spirit carving monk and talked about "Who is chanting Buddha". After four months, he suddenly realized and said, "I woke up from my dream!" " From then on, I will debate freely whenever I have the opportunity. The vulture monk wanted to pay for clothes, but the master refused. After his resignation, he closed the temple in Zhen Ji and studied Buddhist scriptures. At the end of three years, the monks in the temple asked the master to speak "Hokkekyo", and the master acceded to the throne and began to perform. His words are like a flowing river. From then on, the master traveled all over the world and was invited to live in various monasteries, giving lectures on the Buddhist scriptures, the goblet of fire and the first cold words every day. He lived in the ancient temple for more than ten years and received many apprentices. The four disciples of Jiangsu and Zhejiang fell in love, and the banquet was more grand than the other party. After the provincial nunnery mage, he lived in seclusion in Xianlin Temple in Hang Cheng, never leaving home, trying to tidy up his business. On April 4, Buddhist calendar 1734/KLOC-0, the master stopped eating and sat quietly with his eyes closed, which was in danger. He bathed and changed clothes at the fifth watch, facing the west. Just then, disciples from far and near gathered together and said with tears, "May the teacher be alive and learn from others." The master opened his eyes again and said, "I'll come when I go." Life and death are important, and each of us will read Buddha. " Then he crossed his hands, recited the Buddha's name and died. When I got to the niche, my face was still the same, Spring and Autumn. Disciples worship the Linggu Pagoda in the west of Fushui Rock in Qinchuan. On February 15th, the seventh year of Qianlong, all the people in Shanshan missed Master's way and greeted the right side of the Ashoka Palace, which was rebuilt with spiritual bones. Master's works include Pure Land Poetry, Notes on the Duty of the Western Heaven, Persuading Bodhicitta, Biography of Past Life, etc., which are handed down to the world and require Buddhist disciples to recite them.

Miss a monk (1707)? -1708, alias Zhang, from Suzhou, Nanming (actually from Shuangbang, Hengjing Village, Shajiabang Town). During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, he engaged in activities to resist the restoration of the Qing Dynasty and the invasion of the Manchu Dynasty and distributed letters of appointment, which was called the title of Daming Tiande. He lives in seclusion in Chongfu 'an. Because he is proficient in Shaolin boxing, he has received many disciples, and Gan Fengchi is one of his disciples. Monk Yi Nian was a famous martial artist in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and there are still many legends among local people. In the forty-sixth year of Kangxi (1707), people gathered together, wrapped in red cloth, erected the banner of Daming (actually a peasant uprising army under the banner of resisting the Qing Dynasty and regaining sight), and tried to attack Taicang and rob the warehouse, but failed. The following year, Mei Yan met the Qing army in Wujiang, and he was defeated by everyone. Unfortunately, he was arrested and later escorted to Hangzhou for execution.
