1692, Emperor Kangxi initially conceived the establishment of Ruyi Pavilion, mainly to study and display western scientific and technological achievements. After its completion, it became a service organization offering paintings to the royal family in Qing Dynasty. Here, there are also masters of painting, calligraphers and porcelain from all over the country. Entering the Ruyi Pavilion has also become an important embodiment of the affirmation of painting art. The Ruyi Pavilion in Kangyonggan Dynasties was managed by the emperor, while the Ruyi Pavilion in Tongzhi and Guangxu Dynasties was managed by the Ministry of the Interior. Painters who have made their mark in Ruyige mainly include: Yu, Jiao Bingjun, Dai Heng, Zou Wenyu, Tang Dai, He Jinkun, Song, Jiao Guoyu and so on.
