The predecessor of Tianfuhao Food Factory was Tianfuhao Butcher Shop. It was opened in 1738 AD in the third year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of 262 years.
In 1738, the third year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty, Liu Fengxiang, a native of Dongye County, Snow Mountain, came to Beijing with his grandson to make a living. He partnered with a Shanxi merchant to open a sauce butcher shop at the corner of the Xidan archway, selling sauce pork elbows and sauce. Meat and tripe with sauce, etc. Soon, the Shanxi people left and the Liu family managed it alone. But the Liu family had no capital and couldn't even afford a plaque, so they had to go to the junk market and buy an old plaque with the three characters "Tianfu Hao" written vigorously on it, and hung it on the door of the shop. At that time, some literati often admired the calligraphy on the old plaques in front of the door. The "popularity" in front of the door gradually increased, and the business also improved.
One day, Liu Dingming, a descendant of Liu Fengxiang, was watching the stove at night and fell asleep unknowingly. When he woke up, he found that the elbow meat had collapsed in the pot. He was frightened and quickly put the elbow, which was as soft as mud, in a cool place to dry. It happened that an official from the nearby Qing Dynasty's Criminal Department passed by and bought the elbow.
The next day, the official sent someone to buy again, specifically asking for the "overcooked" elbow like yesterday, saying that the taste of the elbow was very mellow. The shop owner was overjoyed, so he followed Liu Daming's mistake and made it more carefully. Since then, the reputation of "Tianfu Hao Sauce Elbow" has greatly increased, attracting many dignitaries to buy it.
Soon, the palace asked Tianfuhao to deliver elbows to the royal family on schedule, and gave Tianfuhao sauce butcher shop a sign for the palace. This delicious food became a tribute to the Qing Dynasty.
The reason why Tianfu Hao Sauce Pork Pork is famous all over the world is because of its unique cooking technique. First of all, they select ingredients strictly: they select the front and back rump or pork belly of Jingdong Iberico pig. During the "Cultural Revolution", Tianfu was forced to suspend production and business. It was not until 1979 that production was resumed with the efforts of relevant departments, and its traditional "unique skills" were fortunately not lost. In 1988, Tianfuhao was rated as "Beijing's Excellent Time-honored Food Brand" in the "Beijing Time-honored Brand Consumer Review" jointly organized by the Beijing Food Industry Association, China Consumer News and CCTV. In 1994, it won the "Gold Award" for exhibits at the Second International Small and Medium Enterprises New Products and New Technology Exhibition and Forum in Beijing. In 1995, Tianfu Hao Sauce Pork became one of the products recommended by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Technical Supervision to the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women.
In 1994, after Beijing Wanfang Industrial Company revitalized this time-honored brand, it merged Tianfuhao with the Xicheng District Meat Processing Factory to establish Beijing Tianfuhao Food Factory. A few years later, Tianfuhao developed from a "workshop" to a medium-sized meat processing factory that produces more than 80 kinds of Chinese and Western cooked food products. It also discovered a batch of traditional secret recipes and resumed the production of oven meat, clear sauce chicken, and smoked fish. and other series of traditional products.
This kind of product that consumers love is now not only selling well in large and medium-sized shopping malls in Beijing, but also exported overseas.
Last year, Tianfu built a large meat processing plant in Beijing's Tianzhu Airport Industrial Zone. Since then, the purely manual operation that has been followed for more than 260 years has been replaced by an automated assembly line in a modern factory covering an area of ??more than 7,000 square meters. This has increased Tianfuha's cooked meat processing capacity from the previous 5 tons to 20 tons per day.
Before the Spring Festival this year, the price of more than 50 kinds of cooked meat products, including sauced pork elbows, in the Tianfuhao store located at No. 213 Xinei Street has been reduced by 10%, making it closer to ordinary consumers.
