It is said that when the last pearl was inlaid, there was an astronomical phenomenon that the sun, the moon and the sky were in harmony, and the fire, water and earth in Jin Mu were five stars in a line. This astronomical phenomenon has always been regarded as good luck. Therefore, the "Golden Ou Gu Yong Cup" has always been a family heirloom of the imperial city of the Qing Dynasty.
"Jin 'ou Gu Yong Cup" is12.5cm in height, 8cm in caliber and 5cm in foot height. The cup tire is made of 80% gold, and the cup mouth is engraved with palindrome. The middle of the front of the cup is engraved with the seal script "Jin Ou Gu Yong", and the back is engraved with the words "Qianlong Year System".
The whole cup is unique in shape, intricate and exquisite, with 36 pearls, rubies, sapphires and pink tourmalines. There are double vertical ears on both sides of the cup, a pearl is embedded in the faucet, and the bottom is covered with three elephants in a tripod shape.
In the fifty-fifth year of the Qing Dynasty, namely 1790, to celebrate Li Hong's eightieth birthday, provincial governors collected gold, and 16 gold bells were carefully designed and cast by court craftsmen as a tribute to show off their wealth.
