The construction area of Xintan Middle School is 1.3 million square meters, which is divided into living quarters and teaching quarters. The two areas are separated by a COVID-19 greenhouse and a hidden wall over 40 meters. The living area consists of three teachers' dormitories, namely, the North Building, the South Building and the Central Building. Between the North Building and the Central Building is a school road leading from the school gate to the temperature measuring gate in the teaching area. On both sides of the school road are fitness spaces composed of fitness equipment and green belts composed of flowers and trees.
There are two student apartments for men and women in the school teaching area. The girls' apartment in the south is adjacent to the multifunctional canteen and is responsible for students' three meals a day. The new teaching building in the south is the recording and broadcasting room, library and calligraphy room. The new teaching building consists of the south teaching building in the southeast, the office building in the back, the north teaching building and the school stage. The boys' apartment is on the west side of the school stage.
A plastic runway of more than 300 meters in the teaching area surrounds the student canteen and the teaching building. There are green football fields, basketball courts and tennis courts in the runway.
There are 58 full-time teachers in the school, including 7 senior teachers and 45 intermediate teachers. The school has 12 classes with 640 students.
