Oracle bone inscriptions are written records of the Shang Dynasty. They can be found mainly on the bones of some wild animals or on turtle shells, so they are called oracle bone inscriptions. The one that appeared slightly later than oracle bone inscriptions is called bronze inscriptions, which can be written on bells and tripods. Therefore, Jinwen has another name called Zhongdingwen. Archaeologists have found them on many unearthed bronze vessels.
After the Qin Dynasty unified the country, Xiaozhuan was used, and the promotion of this writing was mainly responsible for the Prime Minister Li Si. Moreover, on the basis of the use of large seal scripts, the Qin Dynasty used the Chinese character writing form that unified the characters. Therefore, small diamonds are also an important process for China to systematically standardize the writing style for the first time. In order to make writing more convenient, official script evolved on the basis of transmission.
The regular script font is dignified and neat. It was probably formed in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and matured in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
