Light of Life

2010 "Light of Life", cardboard, 38cmx54cm

2010 "Light of Life" was exhibited at the Jiangsu Provincial Museum. When the organizer was still hesitating whether to approve this informal work, fresh ballpoint pen drawings appeared in front of people's eyes. The inconspicuous ballpoint pen actually created such a beautiful world. This is the idea that the author wants to convey to people. Don't look outside, start from the heart and you will find that all the good things are around you.

The appearance of the painting caused many netizens to pick up their paintbrushes and imitate them one after another, opening the windows of their souls to welcome the light of life from the world.

Secret in the Shape Mountain

2012 "Secret in the Shape Mountain", 250g watercolor paper, 110cmx50cm

Colored ballpoint pen painting "Secret in the Shape Mountain" was created in 2012. It took half a year to complete and was exhibited at the 2012 Chenxi First China New Pen Painting Art Festival. The superb painting techniques and mysterious use of colors make it difficult for people to believe that this is a painting created with six-color ballpoint pens. "There is a treasure within heaven and earth, between the universe, and the secret is in the shaped mountain." "Shaped Mountain" refers to people's bodies. There is a formless self-nature in the body, which exists beyond the heaven, earth and universe. If you are confused, life is humble and insignificant in the physical body; if you are enlightened, life can obtain a steady stream of endless energy; the work uses a cliff as a metaphor for people's method of developing natural energy: facing the objective environment, we can see from it Is it a dangerous cliff? Or do you realize the existence of Buddha (awareness)? What people step on is not just cement, there are endless treasures hidden underneath. Our body is not just a flesh and blood body full of desires and troubles. Endless troubles are endless seeds of wisdom.

Personal opinion

Future art education will be based on the folk. Ballpoint pens are simple and common. The promotion of paintings is of great significance to the popularization of art knowledge among the masses. People are busy working in an impetuous society, and their spirits are flying in electronic information. They have long lost the sense of security of being "down to earth". A small ballpoint pen can allow people to regain the joy of writing, and enthusiasts can regain their childhood dreams of painting. Carve out a pure land for yourself. To paraphrase He Chun's own words: When others were playing mahjong or turning on the TV and computer as usual after meals, I took out my pen, picked up a piece of paper and drew a few strokes. The feeling was like ice in the hot summer, it was so refreshing.
