Tang, táng, Cong Geng Congkou. With prosperity and wealth (Geng), life (mouth) is multiplied.
The glyphs of "Tang" in oracle bone inscriptions and Shang Dynasty bronze inscriptions seem to have a cover woven with branches on top of the pottery, so that when the food is cooked inside, it will not roll out when the soup boils. When the soup boils, the sound is loud, so Tang and Tang have similar pronunciations and meanings. For example, Shang Wang Chengtang is called "Tang" in the oracle bone inscriptions.
