Zhou Huang was born in Fuling in 1714. He was a Jinshi in the second year of Qianlong's reign and a teacher of the Emperor Jiaqing. He once served as Minister of the Ministry of War, President of the "Sikuquanshu" Library, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, and Minister of the Ministry of War. Zhou Huang is good at poetry, painting and calligraphy. He is the author of "Yingbieji", "Haishan Cumulative Manuscript", "Ryukyu National Chronicle", etc.
