Xiping Shijing protection

1933, Yu Youren bought a triangular stone carving from an antique dealer in Luoyang for 4,000 silver dollars to save cultural relics. Zhang Fuwan, a famous historian in Guanzhong, confirmed that this stone was written by Cai Yong, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it is a part of Xiping Shijing. The remains of Yu Youren Shijing are carved on both sides, and one side is engraved with 286 words of Bagua 10 from Zhouyi Family to Ghost Girl. On the other side, there are 205 words engraved with classical Chinese and divination. This is the largest number of characters in the residual stone unearthed in decades, and it has always been cherished by calligraphy and archaeology. During the period of 1940, the situation in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression was tense. In order to ensure the safety of the stone tablet, Yu Youren transferred it from Shanghai to Xi 'an, and then donated it to Xi 'an Forest of Steles, which is now displayed in Room 3 of Xi 'an Forest of Steles.
