Types of strokes in calligraphy
Once you learn how to write, you can learn how to write further. To learn to write, we must first learn to stipple, which is like the building material of words. If the materials are not ready or the prepared materials do not meet the quality requirements, the exhibition hall will not be beautiful and three-dimensional. The same is true of studying books. If you can't write stippling, your handwriting won't look good. Learning how to transport a pen means learning how to drop ink on paper through a pen to form a satisfactory stippling.
The calligraphy method described in this paper is mainly based on Mr. Ding's opinion. Now introduce several main ways of carrying pens as follows.
The movement of the pen can be divided into vertical movement and horizontal movement. Vertical movement refers to the vertical movement of pen and paper. Lateral movement refers to the movement of the pen in the direction parallel to the paper.
A, longitudinal movement mainly has the following kinds:
1, pen writing: The initial contact between pen and paper is called pen writing, also called pen writing. Writing is generally light, like a bird falling from the air on a branch. Putting pen to paper is the beginning of writing.
2, pen: press the pen down to call the pen. Don't overdo it. If it is too heavy, it will be too fat to draw.
3, pen: pen to the top is called pen, usually after the pen is finished. Hold up a pen like a bird about to fly high from the ground.
Second, the horizontal movement mainly includes the following types:
1, stroke: a stroke from one end to the other is called a stroke, and a stroke is also called a stroke.
2. Down-stroke: After using the pen, slightly lift it to make the pen tip rotate, which is called down-stroke. Most frustrated pens are used at stroke turning points. For example, when writing a cross, first pick up the pen, write the corners with the tip of the pen, and then stop writing. At this time, slightly lift the pen to make the second side appear, then slightly rotate the pen tip to make it face the top of the stroke-this is called a pen-down, and finally continue to write, and then cross it to finish.
3, folding pen: when writing a little painting, I want to go up, want to go up, want to go left, want to go right, want to change the direction categorically, deliberately revealing the edges and corners. For example, to write horizontally, first put the pen on the upper left, and then fold it to the lower right to write a square edge. This is a folding pen.
4, turn pen: turn pen is called turn pen, turn pen is to write some dots, no edges and corners, such as writing? Ma's second stroke or writing? Yuan? For the fourth stroke of the word, in order to keep the turning point from being exposed, it is necessary to rotate the nib like drawing a circle with a compass.
5. Return pen: The direction of return pen after stopping writing is called return pen. What is the purpose of writing back? Guard the tail and avoid it? Fold wood? .
6. Pen: The pen is called a pen, which is different from the back. The pen is reversed and the pen is reversed. If you write a left vertical hook, when you write the length vertically, lift the pen to the left and then turn it around, so that the nib points in the opposite direction of the hook to be picked out-this is the pen-and finally lift the pen to pick it out.
7, vertical pen: when walking, the pen tip is raised, and when it goes far, it is called vertical pen. For example, when writing off, use a pen from heavy to light, and finally use a vertical pen.
In addition to vertical movement and horizontal movement, there is also a way to raise the pen between them. This kind of brushwork neither raises the pen nor stops, that is, it does not turn or move, and the pen stops on the paper, which is called vertical pen. The purpose of keeping a pen is to gain motivation, that is, to obtain a certain situation of stippling.
The above are several commonly used strategies. Beginners will gradually master more brushwork as long as they ponder carefully in writing practice.
