Brief introduction of Wang Mengzhi
Wang Mengzhi, the founder of China's "five styles" (calligraphy style); Dean of China Wuti Calligraphy Research Institute. Born in Shandong, he is the descendant of Wang Xizhi, the 56th calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Influenced by his family studies, he was addicted to painting and calligraphy. He became famous as a teenager. Graduated from Shi Qi Tutor Studio of Central Academy of Fine Arts, and studied under Mr. Shi Qi. He is currently a national first-class artist, president of China Su Ru Calligraphers Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, member of Shandong Artists Association, member of Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of China Calligraphy and Painting Association, member of China Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, director of East and West Artists Association, director of China Xi Zhi Research Association, and special first-class painter of China Hanmoyuan Painting and Calligraphy Institute.
